Pregnant women unknowingly being used as vaccine guinea pigs And what mother wouldn’t say yes when it comes to protecting their child? If only the vaccines were actually proven to be so beneficial. Perhaps if women were being told the truth – that the Tdap and Dtap vaccines are not yet proven to be effective or safe for unborn children – they might be able to make a more informed decision.
The CDC may be suggesting these vaccines, but in their own documentation, they state that neither vaccine has been tested for safety during pregnancy and they have no idea what kind of harm it could potentially do. In effect, they are allowing pregnant women and their fetuses to be their guinea pigs.
Normally, vaccines have to go through several clinical trial phases that provide substantial proof of efficacy before being recommended. How these vaccines for pregnant women and their unborn children – who would be considered especially vulnerable – escaped those limitations is certainly worth wondering about.
