Health and Wellness is something we all aspire to – just to be able to live good, energetic, pain-free lives as much as possible.
There are a LOT of things we can still do to help ourselves and now is the time to start.
Now – means whenever you decide that you are just fed up with feeling unwell! Just do it and you can make things so much better for yourself.
Health and Wellness – what does it mean to YOU?
- Are you a worrier?
- Do you go to the doctor at the slightest tickle in the throat or ache in the back?
- Are you often in the doctor’s surgery looking for a way to “feel better”?
- Do you eat well – or do you eat a poor nutritional diet.
Nutrition – PROPER nutrition is the most important single ingredient to the recipe of good healthy lives. Without the raw ingredients that make up a good nutritional intake – the body will respond. In a bad way!
Diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and a whole litany of conditions can make life a misery – and many people do NOT realise what they are doing to themselves when they constantly feed their bodies with a diet that is deficient in essential nutrients.
This is as well as coping with the environmental stress and pollution of normal life, overall health status will be bound to drop.
This state is called sub-optimal health – our bodily needs are not being met.
The most amazing fact is though, that the bodily resilience will not necessarily degenerate into total ill-health. Sub-optimal health is often a very subtle and gradual thing.
This gradual decline in health can often be difficult to notice. Pointers could include:
- Poor, unrefreshing sleep patterns
- Skin Problems (often aggravated more by chemicals in personal care products)
- Digestive problems
- Mood swings
- Aches and pains
Interestingly none of these pointers may raise alarm bells because we have become conditioned to think these are “just the way life happens”…..
However we should be aware and take note that things may not be quite right.
If a crisis hits, be it a stress event (emotional, work, accident of some kind), a bug – you name it…. If any of these hit when nutritional reserves are low or even totally used, the nutritional bank account is bankrupt and illness generally occurs.
